Alexa L. Goutos

Alexa Goutos joined the firm in 2009 as a law clerk while working on her Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Ms. Goutos received her Juris Doctor in 2011 and then became an associate with the firm.

Ms. Goutos graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Ms. Goutos interned with the Cook County State’s Attorney in 2007 for the Juvenile Justice Division, where she worked in the Delinquency and Abuse and Neglect departments. While in law school, Ms. Goutos was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, which is the largest co-ed law fraternity in the United States. Ms. Goutos traveled to Dublin, Ireland for a study abroad program which focused on trial advocacy in the winter of 2010 and was named an Honorable Student at the King’s Inns.

As a law clerk for the firm, Ms. Goutos gained valuable experience in the field of domestic relations law by working closely with attorneys at the firm and assisting them with all matters; including drafting pleadings, conducting research, drafting both objective and persuasive legal memoranda, and preparing for hearings and trials.

Ms. Goutos is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Hellenic Bar Association.
